January 2014 Newsletter

Welcome to the January 2014 Edition of our
Newsletter

Welcome back to all parents and children after the Christmas holiday. We hope you all enjoyed the celebrations, and had a relaxing break.

Fee Payments

Can we remind all parents fees are payable in advance, they must be paid by the Tuesday evening at the latest. Parents can pay fees by standing order with a set monthly fee. Non- payment of fees will result in your child being refused into nursery until fees are paid to-date.

Contact Details

Please notify the Nursery of any changes to your contact details.  This is extremely important if we need to contact you in an emergency.

You can request a contact form from the office if several of your details have changed, or you can write them down and a senior member of staff will amend your child’s starter pack.

Self Help Skills

From a very early age, children develop self help skills, such as feeding themselves, or hanging their coat on their peg when they arrive at Nursery.  We would be grateful if these skills are encouraged and developed at both home and Nursery, working in partnership to make your child more independent.

Toothbrush

If your child is in Pre-school room please provide them with a toothbrush to clean their teeth after lunch.

Free flow water beaker

Please provide your child with a beaker for free flow water during the day. Fruit shoots and other sugary drinks will not be accepted as they are not part of our healthy eating policy.

Story Bags

Toddler and Pre-school children will continue to take story bags home.  One child from each key group will take a story bag home on the Friday, and we ask you to read the book and use the puppets with your child and comment in the diary provided.
